You just have to love jealousy. Maybe not in all situations, but when it comes to Owned!, it is one of the greatest emotions to exploit. If you can find someone who takes issue with you “owning” their loved one, you have found a gold mine. I have found a couple of these and every time I would bid, they HAD to bid higher. I do believe that some players recognize the value of a jealous owner and try to convince other players that an image has a jealous owner. You will see comments such as “Don’t Touch”, “This is Mine”, or some other menacing threat. I take these comments with a grain of salt. The only way to determine a jealous owner is by their actions. One thing that helped jump start my climb up the ranks was a jealous individual. After I had purchased the same person a couple of times, this jealous individual decided they were going to keep the picture at all costs, or at least to the tune of L$145,000,000! I have refined my technique/strategy for generating Lunch Money and will outline it in an upcoming post. For now, I suggest that you keep buying and selling and hope you stumble across some jealousy!

I posted this, or at least somethiing similar to this earlier in the week, but it appears it wasn't saved. I appologize for not having it up sooner. I mentioned in my previous post that I was close to catching the person at the top of my region, and found it curious that everyone had the same amount. It appears I was a little off and had not looked at the numbers close enough. I have now passed the person at the top of my region, but it seems I have stalled. Here are the numbers: My Value: L$2,147,429,251
Next closest in my region: L$2,147,143,596
Everyone in top 25: L$2,147,483,647 The differance all seems to be at the L$100,000 level. This seems odd to me. Since I hit this amount my own pictures have sold for higher amounts, but that value has not changed on the rank page. I have also bought and sold quite a few picutres and my rank/value has stayed the same. I will keep my eye on the amount and will see if it changes.

Do you have a fetish for certain pictures on Owned? Okay, so maybe "fetish" isn't the best word, but it got your attention! I am just curious if people have niches, or certain types of photos they like to collect. Mine, for instance, is pretty generic. I would say that about 90% of my collection are women on their own. They seem the most basic to me, and seem to trade well. What do others look for? I haven't looked at others, but do they collect only pictures with smokers? There are all kinds of collections I can think of: - eyes
- legs
- brides
- mothers with kid(s)
- cute couples
- dogs
- tattoos
- scenics
I am sure there are others. I would love to hear your collections, or even just your ideas for collections. On a seperate note, I mentioned my daily bonus had reset. Today it was back to the full amount indicating I had logged in the correct number of days. Strange, but who am I to complain. It is...just a game.

I currently own 1000 lives, or at least pictures. I am only about L$7,000,000 from the leader in our region, or so the Leaderboard would have me believe. Once I had passed all my friends, I started looking at the regional board and noticed that the leader had L$2,147,143,596. Now that I am close to that mark I looked at the list for everyone and found that they ALL had that amount. I clicked on the person listed as number one, and her own picutre is worth more then that. It would appear that the ranking system has a limitation in it.

If you play the game at all, you know you get a daily bonus. The more days in a row you log in to play, the higher the bonus gets. With my addiction I managed to get my bonus to L$5,000,000 a day. I was also getting that bonus for logging into the Games and another L$200,000 for logging into the Sae the Planet page. As of yesterday, it reset and I am back to day one in terms of bonuses. It was a little disappointing, but I will survive. This is discussed in some other forums and I guess there isn't too much you can do about it. If anyone out there has had this happened and then managed to get it corrected without just logging in every day until the amount goes back up, please let us know.
